The .NET framework version 3.5 SP1 and earlier versions did not provide support for applications to use Transport Layer Security (TLS) System Default Versions as a cryptographic protocol. This update enables the use of TLS v1.2 in the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

In addition, we have added the SslProtocolsExtensions enumeration that you can use as an option for setting TLS v1.2, TLS v1.1, as well as operating system defaults for the ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol property when targeting .NET framework version 2.0 SP2. (See the Developer Guidance section for the information on how to use the extensions.)Note Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 do not support Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol versions newer than 1.0. Managed .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 applications running on Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2 cannot use TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.1, even if those protocols are set in the ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol property.

The tool is not compatible with other earlier versions of the software, so to use .NET Framework 3.5, you have to uninstall the earlier versions. To access the software you need to download it from the website and run the application.
.NET Framework 3.5 Offline and online is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in os components category and is available to all software users as a free download.
If you still want to use an old version you can find more information in the Maven Releases History and can download files from the archives for versions 3.0.4+ and legacy archives for earlier releases.
For most Unix systems, you must download and compile the source code. The same source code archive can also be used to build the Windows and Mac versions, and is the starting point for ports to all other platforms.
or, in many cases, public keys can also be foundat keybase.io.On the version-specific download pages, you should see a link to both thedownloadable file and a detached signature file. To verify the authenticityof the download, grab both files and then run this command:
First, you can check if the component is already installed on your device. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off, verify if .NET Framework 3.5 checkbox is selected and then proceed with the software installation. If the error persits, we will have to force the installation with the Windows command prompt (CMD). Prior to this step, we need to have the .NET Framework installation package in our device, which you can typically find on the 'Components' folder of the software we are trying to install (if you can't find in, it is also available for direct download on the Microsoft's website). For now, you can leave the installation package on your local disk folder (C:\).Go to Start Menu and type 'cmd' and open it with administrator privileges. Copy the following command on the prompt and execute it:

A lot of users are confused if they need to install an older version of NET Framework like NET 2.0. In this post, MiniTool provides a full guide on the NET Framework 2.0 download/install and other related information.
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 Download & Install for Windows 8/7 What is .NET Framework 4.5? Where to download NET Framework 4.5? If you are also trying to figure them out, this post is what you need.
The NET Framework 2.0 has been supported for a decade, but it reaches the end of support on April 12, 2016. That is to say, no longer updates and security fixes/patches are provided for this version. However, certain apps and programs still require Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run. In this case, you can manually download NET.Framework 2 and install it.
Since the NET Framework 3.5 version contains .NET 2.0 and 3.0, we recommend you check if you have already installed NET 3.5 on your PC. If it is, you just need to enable NET 3.5. If not, you can refer to the following .NET Framework 2.0 download and install guide.
Step 1. Click here to open the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (x64) Service webpage, and then select the language from the drop-down menu and click on Download. Then select a location to save the download package.
If you are running on a 32-bit operating system, download Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (x86) from here. If you are not sure about that, this post provides a guide to check whether your system is x64 or x86 version.
Windows 8 is a major release of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft. It was released to manufacturing on August 1, 2012; it was subsequently made available for download via MSDN and TechNet on August 15, 2012,[6] and later to retail on October 26, 2012.[7]
Windows 8 development started before Windows 7 had shipped in 2009.[12] At the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2011, it was announced that the next version of Windows would add support for ARM system-on-chips alongside the existing x86 processors produced by vendors, especially AMD and Intel. Windows division president Steven Sinofsky demonstrated an early build of the port on prototype devices, while Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced the company's goal for Windows to be "everywhere on every kind of device without compromise."[13][14][15][16] Details also began to surface about a new application framework for Windows 8 codenamed "Jupiter", which would be used to make "immersive" applications using XAML (similarly to Windows Phone and Silverlight) that could be distributed via a new packaging system and a rumored application store.[17]
The build was released for download later that day in standard 32-bit and 64-bit variants, plus a special 64-bit variant which included SDKs and developer tools (Visual Studio Express and Expression Blend) for developing Metro-style apps.[28] The Windows Store was announced during the presentation, but was not available in this build.[29][30] According to Microsoft, there were about 535,000 downloads of the developer preview within the first 12 hours of its release.[31] Originally set to expire on March 11, 2012, in February 2012 the Developer Preview's expiry date was changed to January 15, 2013.[32] 2ff7e9595c
